Tuesday night we celebrated another cruiser’s birthday along with 14 others at the Prime C Restaurant. This morning we woke up to grey skies and steady rain but since our plans included two of the bigger museums in Florence – Accademia and Uffizi, it did not interrupt our plans two much. Tomorrow, we have a tour guide picking us up in Civitavecchia and we will make stops in several small towns and a winery on our way to Rome. We are spending the night in Rome and will come back to the ship on Friday. Forecast looks questionable for Rome.

Rain is everywhere. We had it in Alaska, we've had it since our return last Thursday here in Texas and you have it on the Mediterranean. Good thing you'll be inside.

Its been raining for a full week in Dallas so don't feel bad. I love the Uffuzi - hope you enjoyed it! Looks like a great trip!
